• UNNAT VIDYARAMBHAM- The official inaugural ceremony of Tribal Arts and
Science College, Nadukani held on 22 December 2021.
• FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM- On 1 January 2021 three mentoring
sessions were provided to all faculties for enhancing the quality of teaching methods
and improving the academic culture.
• ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS- The official inaugural ceremony of Tribal Arts and
Science College, Nadukani held on 22 December 2021.
• INAUGURATION OF COLLEGE HIGHER EDUCATION PROGRAM AND
COLLEGE WEBSITE- Honourable Vice-chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University
Prof. Dr. Sabu Thomas inaugurated the higher education program and college website
on 17 January 2022.
• NSS UNIT INAUGURATION- The Nation Service Scheme unit was inaugurated on
19 February 2022 for upgrading the socio-cultural obligations of students.
• SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATION- TASC conducted its pioneer webinar on 28
February 2022 on the subject of “Metagenomics” lead by Ms. Bhavya Kachiprath,
research scholar CUSAT.
• STUDENT INTERACTION PROGRAM- Two day student interaction program
was organized in TASC chaired by Dr. Anup G., Assistant Professor, Malayalam, Dr.
Manu Sankar, Assistant Professor, Computer Application and Dr. Anoop Jain,
Assistant Professor, Physical Education, Sree Sankara Vidhyapeedam, Kaladi on 4th
and 5th March 2022.
• WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION- Dr. Mona Yadav, Professor, Department of
Education of groups with special needs, NCERT, New Delhi made an inspiring
lecture in the webinar conducted with the topic “Gender Equality today for a
sustainable tomorrow” on 8 th March 2022.
• FORMATION OF COLLGE P.T.A. - The official inaugural ceremony of Tribal Arts and
Science College, Nadukani held on 22 December 2021.
• COLLEGE UNION ELECTION- TASC, Nadukani faced its first union election on
15 March 2022 and Mr. Abhiram P. Suresh was elected as the Chairperson of the
college and all other Union members were elected by Parliamentary system.
• NASHAMUKT BHARATH CAMPAIGN- An awareness program on “Drug and
Alcoholic Addiction” was led by Preethy P. R., Medical and Psychiatric social
worker on 23 rd March 2022.
• WORLD HEALTH DAY CELEBRATION- The Department of Food Science and
Quality Control organized a webinar about “Our Earth Our Health” during the
occasion of “World Health Day” celebrated on 7 th April 2022.
• LITERARY CLUB INAGURATION- The club was inaugurated by eminent
novelist Smt. Pushpamma on 8 April 2022 with the vision of amplifying the literary
talents of students.
• JALIAN WALA BAGH DAY- a quiz competition was held among students in
remembrance of Jalian Wala Bagh Massacre on 11 th April 2022.
• UNION INAGURATION- 12 April 2022 was selected for the grand inauguration of
Students Union. Shri. Arjun Pandian IAS delivered the inaugural address followed by
oath taking of Chairperson and his Union members.
• WORLD EARTH DAY- In Association with World Earth Day celebration Science
Club conducted a webinar on “Fundamentals of Disaster Management” on 22 April
2022.
• WORLD BOOK DAY- a lecture about “Influence of book in our social life” was
delivered by famous writer Shri. Boby R. organized by literary club of the college.
• WORLD ENIVORNMENT DAY- Nature Club of TASC celebrated World
Environment Day on 7 th June 2022 by planting fruit seedlings and ornamental plants
around the campus..
• FOOD SAFETY DAY- On the occasion of “World Food Safety Day” TASC hosted
a webinar on “Role of Food Technologist in Food Safety”. The webinar was
inaugurated by Dr. Rajesh V. R., Deputy Director of Animal Husbandry department,
Wayanad and the Chief Guest of the program was Shri. Ameer Fisal, Assessor and
Master trainer in FoSTaCof FSSAI, Approved tutor by Highfield International, UK on
7 th June 2022.
• WORLD OCEAN DAY- a webinar inaugurated by M. K. Saji, Deputy Registrar,
M.G. University and a talk on “Revitalization of Indian coastal wetlands- A
mitigation strategy to cope with climate emergency” was delivered by Dr. Surya P.
M., Research Associate, Cochin University of Science and Technology, CSIR on 8
June 2022.
• INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST CHILD LABOUR- on 14 June 2022,
students from both the departments participated in the poster making competition
organized by the social science club of the college in collaboration with department of
Economics based on the theme “how to avoid Child Labour?”
• HONOURING CEREMONY- Mr. Rajesh K., Assist. Prof. Malayalam, TASC was
honoured on 17 June 2022 by the TASC family for receiving the “State Award for
Film Critics”.
• AMBEDKAR JAYANTHI CELEBRATION- Department of Economics hosted a
webinar Chaired by Dr.Vinil Paul, popular historian on the topic “Ambedkar’s view
on Indian history” dated on 19 June 2022.
• READING DAY CELEBRATION- 20 June 2022 was celebrated as
INTERNATIONAL READING DAY when the literary club of the college initiated a
Reading week celebration where students are instructed to convey reviews on their
favourite books. Mr. Ashokan Marayoor, a famous poet and winner of Kerala
Sahithya Academy Award inspired the students through his discussions about “Gothra
Sahithyam (Tribal Literature).
• MUSIC DAY CELEBRATION- the college celebrated Music Day with a melodious
song by C. R. Dileep Kumar, Manager, TASC followed by songs of students and staff
on 21 June 2022.
• INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY- on 21 June 2022, a class on “Yoga and Life “was
led by C. R. Dileep Kumar, Manager, TASC and exhibited various yoga postures to
students.
• NCD DAY AND MEDICAL CAMP- Primary health Centre, Muttom organized a
medical camp for staff and students of the college followed by an awareness class on
Non-communicable Diseases delivered by Dr. K. C. Chacko, Medical Officer,
Muttom and conducted a drawing competition for students on 29 June 2022.
